Example email template for Year 10 Work Experience

Good morning,

I am currently a Year ** student studying for my ****** at Rainham Mark Grammar School. We have been given the opportunity to do 5 days work experience to help develop our skills ahead of our next steps. This is a valuable opportunity to enable us to gain experience within a working environment.

I wondered if you offer work experience placements to students please? I am hard working, reliable, motivated and a great team player. I am passionate about learning but can also adapt to a wide range of roles or responsibilities given to me. A placement with you would provide me with a valuable insight into a workplace and enable me to further develop my skills and CV for my post 16 / 18 career pathway.

The Work experience week set by our school is from the **** to the *****. I understand that this might be restrictive for you, but I would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity. If it is easier for you then the placement can be less that the 5 days.

If this is something that you can help with, then I would be grateful for an opportunity to apply.

I look forward to hearing back from you

Kind regards, xxxxxx
