Extra-Curricular Activities - Clubs & Trips

At RMGS we have a wide range of exciting out of school activities which offer students an opportunity to develop their hobbies and interests. Students can take part in The Duke of Edinburgh Awards, TEFL, LAMDA, Maths and Physics Olympiads. We organise lunchtime and after-school clubs for sport, art, music and other subjects. We also have a wide range of school trips. Each year the school organise a very lively Charity Week during which we raise thousands of pounds for good causes. Trips

At RMGS, we are committed to providing a rich and varied programme of educational visits and enrichment opportunities that enhance students' learning and support their personal development.  Educational visits play a vital role in helping young people to develop beyond the classroom. Through participating in trips, students build confidence, independence, resilience and teamwork skills while broadening their understanding of the world around them. Whether linked directly to the curriculum, careers education, cultural experiences, leadership opportunities or personal interests, these experiences help students to grow as individuals and create lasting memories of their time at school.

Below is the overview of Trips that took place in 2025-26.  This can give you a general idea of what is on offer at RMGS in one academic year.  As per the nature of trips, the offer varies annually based on a number of factors.  We communicate our updated trips offer with parents throughout the year to ensure families are well informed of the offer. If you have any questions related to trips you can contact the Educational Visits Co-Ordinator via the main office.
