Post 18 Options Day- Year 12

Year 12 students took part in a jam-packed day of activities and talks informing them of their post 18 options day.  Students competed in a team competency task, utilising communication, leadership, creativity and teamwork to solve a problem with spaghetti, tape and string.  An eclectic group of speakers came, representing a vast array of backgrounds and professional pathways.  We had a professional podcast and radio technician who has worked with Adele and The Arctic Monkeys, a number of ex-students from various apprenticeships and universities, as well as representatives from CXK discussing apprenticeships, Kent University, Medicine and Oxford University.  All in all, it was an informative day, building on the students’ trip to the UCAS Exhibition earlier in the month.  This is all part of our careers programme to ensure students are informed regarding their various pathways in the future.
