F1 STEM Racing event

RMGS competing in our first ever STEM Racing event

We are excited to announce that RMGS is competing in our first EVER STEM Racing event, sponsored by Formula 1!

STEM Racing (Formally F1 in Schools) is a worldwide competition where students in teams come together to design, build, and race their innovative version of an F1 race car.

Winners of the competition go on to meet world class engineers in the world of F1 and get to experience pit lane life at the British Grand Prix, they have also previously received a full scholarship to University to study Engineering.

If you are lucky enough to make it to the worlds, you get to exchange stories and experiences with teams like yours and take a trip of a lifetime to another country to compete such as Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia.

The students who compete in the competitions have a fantastic chance to develop connections and contacts with those who work in the field and partake in work experience opportunities which have developed into full time employment and apprenticeships.

This is an amazing opportunity and our STEM staff are working hard to support students with this.
