For those unable to attend at this time, we welcome you to a shorter second audition slot on Monday 21st September at the same time and location. Good luck!

Things to know before you audition:

  • For an on-stage role, you will need to prepare one of the two songs listed below alongside presenting the audition script (see below).

  • If you'd like to audition for a lead, you will need to sing as a soloist. If you're auditioning for chorus you can sing in a small group.

  • There will be a non-compulsory session to teach you the songs on Wednesday, 9th September from 3:10 to 3:30 in the Recital Hall.

  • Auditions are on Wednesday, 16th September from 3:10 to 4:30 in the Recital Hall. Once you have auditioned you are free to leave.

  • We will announce the cast as soon as possible after the auditions. We may need some callbacks for lead roles.

  • Rehearsals will start the week beginning Monday 21st September, and you will need to commit to attending all three rehearsals each week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after school from 3:15 to 4:30. The rehearsals will cover acting, singing, and choreography.

  • Performances will be on Thursday, 28th January (evening)Friday, 29th January (evening), and Saturday, 30th January (afternoon). If you cannot commit to attending all three performances, you cannot be given a role.

  • Taking part in a show is massively rewarding - all your hard work will pay off and you will make friends with people from all year groups.
