GCSE RESULTS STATEMENT SUMMER 2026
Rainham Mark Grammar School are delighted to celebrate the GCSE results of our 2026 Year 11 students.
We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the progress they have made during their time with us, particularly given that they began their secondary education amidst the challenges of the pandemic. Their resilience, determination and commitment have been reflected in results they should be proud of:
In total, our year 11 students achieved 2323 GCSE grades, and 843 of these were at grade 7 and above. These achievements are the result of a partnership built on the dedication of hardworking students, the commitment of our teachers and support staff, and the unwavering support of parents and carers.
GCSE Results Day 2026 was truly a time for celebration. It was a joy to share in the success of our students and to witness the pride they felt in their accomplishments. While the headline figures are impressive, the real story lies in the many individual successes within the cohort: students who have worked consistently over five years, students who have overcome significant challenges, and students who have embraced feedback and support to achieve their personal best. We recognise and celebrate the efforts of every student.
We would like to congratulate the students who achieved the highest average grades across the cohort: Daisy B, James C, Antonia M, Jonas M, William K, Phoebe O and Henry C. Collectively, these students achieved an extraordinary 43 grade 9s.
Overall, we celebrate our students as the aspirational, curious and resilient young people they have shown themselves to be. We commend our staff for their dedication and hard work, and we thank parents and carers for their continued support and partnership throughout their children's educational journey.
As many students prepare to continue their studies in our Sixth Form, we look forward to supporting them in the next stage of their education. To those moving on to new opportunities, we wish them every success and happiness for the future. Wherever their journey takes them, we encourage them to continue embracing the Rainham Mark Grammar School motto and aspiration: to be the best version of themselves.
