We are delighted to announce a new and exciting partnership between Kent Cricket and Rainham Mark Grammar School, launching a Sixth Form Cricket Academy from the upcoming academic year.

This collaboration offers students the opportunity to combine high-quality academic study with professional-level cricket coaching, delivered both on-site and through specialist sessions led by Kent Cricket’s experienced coaching staff.

We are pleased to share details of two upcoming opportunities to learn more about the programme:

*Information Evening – Wednesday 19th November (via Zoom)*

Hosted by Judy Wallis of Kent Cricket Community Trust, this online session will provide an in-depth overview of the academy, pathways, coaching provision, and expectations.

*Sixth Form Open Evening – Thursday 20th November*

Representatives from Kent Cricket will be attending our Open Evening, where parents and students will be able to meet the team in person and ask questions about the academy and its opportunities.

The academy offers:

• Specialist coaching aligned with county performance standards

• Strength and conditioning support

• Access to high-quality training facilities

• Opportunities to represent school and academy teams

• A clear pathway into county-level cricket development

The academy is open to committed cricketers entering Year 12 and Y13, including applicants from other schools.
