Today we were visited by an external speaker delivering the 'Hero Project' presentation by Anthony Nolan to Year 12 students.

The Anthony Nolan founder Shirley Nolan had a dream that no child would die like her son Anthony, waiting for a donor to save them. Over fifty years on, that dream is still their guiding light – and their work gives four people another chance of life every day, matching donors with patients whose best chance of more time is a stem cell transplant.
