Appeals for a place in Year 7, September 2023
If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2023 you can appeal between 1 March - 25 March 2023 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 28 May 2023. For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
Supplementary Information Form (SIF)
If your child will be eligible for free school meals on the qualifying date of 31 October 2022, please complete the Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and return it to the school by 31 October 2022 as part of your admission application for a place at RMGS in Year 7 only. If your child is NOT eligible, there is no need to complete this form.
