Medway NJC scale D2 point 4 - 11 (£21,189 to £24,054 pro rata to £15,021 - £17,059)
30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term time plus 2 weeks). Hours 10am to 4.30pm
We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to work as part of the office team. You will be an organised individual with the ability to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines and be able to demonstrate a high level of administrative skills including dealing with confidential and sensitive material. Working as a team and contributing to ensuring a calm environment, and being able to relate to students would be an advantage. Previous experience in a reception role would be an advantage, who is also able to work on their own initiative and be proactive.
The successful applicant will be flexible in approach and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should be computer literate and have worked with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. A qualification in GCSE English and GCSE Maths at grade 4-9 (or A*-C) is essential. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate and they must be prepared to undertake First Aid Training.
