Free School Meal Application Process

Effective from 31st March 2016

The Free School Meal Application process has changed: all applications must be made online via Medway Council.

Parents of students currently receiving Free School Meals under the old system and who have applied before 31st March, 2016 will have to re-apply.

This is a completely new and fresh system. Medway Council have opted to start with clean data to ensure that the information going onto the new system is as up to date and as correct as possible.

Applications can be made via the following link:

https://www.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/medway/

This is located on the Medway Council website under free school meals.

The online application can be completed by the parent or by anyone nominated by the parent. Once the information has been entered, please press “submit” and you will have an instant answer, on screen, informing you if your child is eligible or not. In both cases the information will show instantly on your system.

Parents will be able to go back into their application once submitted and amend details if necessary.

If there are any questions at all regarding the new system, please contact the Student Services Team at Medway Council on: 01634 331155.

   * Note for new Year 7 Students transferring from Primary Schools in September *

Any child currently claiming Free School Meals at their Primary School should automatically be entitled and transferred to RMGS in September (no action should be necessary).

Any new applications should ideally be made online before the beginning of term.
