Graphic Winners at RMGS!!!!!!
Last terms graphic design students were introduced to a competition to design ‘promotional’ stamps for RMGS. The winning designs would form part of a public exhibition being held in partnership with Christchurch University at The Sidney Cooper Centre in Canterbury High Street 28 June-11 July 2012.
Students explored the design brief through analysis and research. They were encouraged to use different software programs; but ultimately to use the computer as a tool to express their own creativity! Students scanned in hand draw/ painted/ collaged images which they manipulated through trial and error.
The standard of work produced was extremely high, a very talented year group! Work was externally judged with the winner’s being- Bethany Nash, Tommy Prentice, Samuel Shepherd and Emma Vincent. My congratulations!
