REMINDER: The Kent and Medway School Aged Immunisation Service is coming to school soon to carry out Flu Immunisation Programme for pupils in Years 7 to 11 – don’t forget to consent or decline before the cut-off date via their website https://family.kentcht.nhs.uk/ Scroll down and click on the blue button “Immunisations” to complete.
You can also phone the team 0300 123 5205, text 07401320923 or use their web chat if you have any questions about your child’s immunisations.
Thank you to all of the parents and carers that attended the year 11 information evening. It was wonderful to see so many of you. As promised, the presentation is available here for you. Year 11 students should be balancing revision with rest over the half term so that they are ready for their mock examinations.
RMGS would like to pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of our Year 13 students this academic year. Across the school 64% of grades were graded at A* to B.
This cohort were the first to return to pre-pandemic grade boundaries. This makes their achievements all the more remarkable, bearing in mind that this is the first external set of examinations they have sat since completing their Medway test in year 6. Although all students have overcome adversity and succeeded in their own way, we recognise the particular achievements of the following students:
Mrs Emma Horstrup, Acting Headteacher said: “I would like to wish the Year 13 students all the best as they prepare for the next exciting chapter in their lives. They have been remarkable students who will continue to be successful individuals as well as wonderful ambassadors wherever their journey takes them. I would also like to thank my staff for their commitment, hard work and determination to help students achieve these grades and of course, all parents and carers for their support.”
My Community Voice is a new and exciting two-way messaging service that helps Kent and Medway residents, businesses, and community groups to keep in touch with their local policing teams. The service sends updates about your local area directly from the police officers themselves.
My Community Voice is more than just a messaging service; it allows you to reply to the alerts sent by Kent Police, share information and most importantly, it allows you to tell the police about issues that are affecting you.
You will be able to play an active part in police appeals as well as being kept up to date with what is happening in your local area.
Unlike social media, My Community Voice is a secure and personal messaging system that allows you to determine what type of alerts you receive and how.
If you are passionate about your neighbourhood and want to have your voice heard, then sign up to My Community Voice via the QR code below.
